COVID-19 Protocols

At Jigsaw Nursery we are strictly adhering to the COVID-19 protocols received from ADEK, MOE and MOHAP. The following highlights are some of the many measures we have implemented:

• Drop off and pick up area identified for parents and carers where childs class teacher collects and drops child.
• All bags and shoes are disinfected at our dedicated drop off area before entry into the nursery.
• Temperature checks at drop off before entry into the nursery and recorded 3 times daily.
• Each child’s table and chair is labelled with their name and photo.
• Children are placed into “bubbles” giving each child a minimum space of 3 ½ square meters within the classroom and learning areas.
• Children are restricted to their bubble, and bubbles do not mix.
• Each bubble has their own designated play area, and this changes daily on a rotation.
• Hand sanitisers have been placed throughout the nursery including in every classroom, bathrooms, outside and at the drop off and pick up area.
• Staggered arrival and drop off times are in place.
• Social distancing signage is placed throughout the nursery.
• All staff wear masks at all times.
• A dedicated Isolation room is set up inside the nursery.
• Staff remain in their designated bubbles and do not mix with each other at any time.
• All staff have been vaccinated against COVID-19.
• No visitors are allowed inside the nursery.
• Prospective parent tours are done virtually or outside of nursery opening hours.
• Daily cleaning and sanitising is done on all resources.
• The nursery sanitised fully at the end of every day.
• Ventilation systems are checked and cleaned regularly.
